on friday, we had our last bus day and we traveled 2 hours to get to stratford upon avon. this is where shakespeare lived and where he is buried. we got a tour of where he used to live, got dinner at a cute italian place, went to see his grave (but sadly, it was too late and the church that he is buried in was closed- but we still got a picture outside of the church) after seeing the town, we went to see king lear. before the play, we found out that it was going to be 3 1/2 hours long. we were all dying just thinking about it! the play ended up being really good and i actually really liked it-- i was proud of myself for not sleeping in it at all like i thought i was going to! plus, how cool is it to see a real shakespeare play in stratford upon avon!?

we got out of king lear around 11, so that meant we didn't get home till about 1 am. we were all so tired! but it was a great day out-- and one last fun day trip with the whole group!
