this past weekend was general conference. it was for sure a different experience watching it in england than it is watching it back home in salt lake. it's weird to see downtown salt lake on the tv, and it was confusing to have to watch conference at odd times instead of the original saturday & sunday times. we ended up wait till sunday (england time) to watch all of conference. it was a long day since we were watching all 4 sessions haha. but it was still fun. this weekend a lot of different groups went on little trips. some to paris and some to portugal. the centre was pretty empty and quiet, but it was definitely a good relaxing weekend!
on monday we all went to "the children's hour." it's a play with keira knightley and elisabeth moss. i absolutely loved this play and even though some people didn't like it, i think that it is one of my favorites. after the play, we stuck around and tried to watch & wait for keira to come out the stage door. we ended up getting her autograph and i snapped some pics of her haha. we all felt like crazy fans, everybody was shouting "keira, keira!!!!!" we were all pretty excited after we got her autograph (even though it was basically just a scribble) and we had such a fun night in london.
after the show, we went to a souvenir shop around the corner.. and i spotted my 2 favorite people in the whole entire world!!!!!! yay!
last night.. kins, liz, carly, mike, and i went to phantom of the opera. i had never seen this live and had only seen 1/2 of the movie-- so i didn't really know what to expect, but i had only heard good things about it. it was AMAZING.
by living in london we get spoiled by having so many plays, musicals, and shows that we can go to every day of the week-- and it has become one of my favorite things to do here. i will miss it when i get home!
